This all-inclusive ski touring weekend is designed for those who want to learn how to better manage their safety on future outski trips.
The aim is to get out in the field with skis on, and to tackle all the safety points that are part and parcel of this sport in a natural environment.
2 days to learn by doing, and of course enjoy the beautiful Queyras massif.
On Saturday, we'll take the lifts to get to the heart of the matter at altitude. And on Sunday, we'll head out in sealskins to continue to tackle all the questions that arise in terms of :
- different types of snow, snow conditions, risks and avalanche triggering mechanisms
- observe, make decisions, track, lead the group
- preparing your outing, cartography, human factors, risk reduction methods
- use rescue equipment (avalanche transceiver/shovel/probe), organize a rescue.
