A guide who plans to go wandering around South America for a while gives this: an adventure proposal with departure and return to Lima, from Huaraz, in the north of Peru, in the region of the famous Huascaran (6768m).
The stay begins with acclimatization to the altitude through hikes and climbs to refuges which allow you to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the region, and to climb Ishinca (5530m).
Then the "expedition" dimension becomes more marked, with high altitude camps and the ascent of peaks of more than 6000 meters, the Tocllaraju (6034m) and the Chopicalqui (6354m). This dimension nevertheless remains tempered by the short distance from the summits, which allows flexibility and lightness to be maintained, both in terms of the approach steps and in terms of logistics and adaptation possibilities.
